Damn Good Advice from Mr. Lois

The art director for some of the most iconic magazine (Esquire) covers of the 20th century, George Lois, has a new book entitled “Damn Good Advice.” In his new book, Mr. Lois, who is not short on ego or attitude, delivers advice that is mostly geared toward the advertising world. He does this by focusing on the word first and the image second. This should sound familiar to any publication designer. Words then images.
