THE UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS UNDERWENT A RESTRUCTURING, allowing each individual campus (Urbana-Champaign, Chicago, and Springfield) to create its own unique brand and communications. The school’s signature magazine needed to align with the school’s new bold look and feel. Our redesign utilized the school’s one font, Theinhardt, the bold color palette, and the baseline-oriented composition. We also made recommendations for bolder photography and the incorporation of illustration and graphics.
