Margot Grisar is a Boston-based designer and art director with over twenty-five years of experience in editorial and marketing design. As a visual storyteller, she enjoys collaborating with writers, illustrators and photographers. Most recently, she worked in marketing at Tufts University managing brand cohesion across a wide range of schools, centers, and institutes. She worked synergistically with marketing and communications teams to develop branded marketing campaigns across multiple channels. Prior to that she was the design director for editorial communications at Tufts, managing the six university and school alumni magazines, the primary news site, Tufts Now, and the university homepage. She successfully launched a redesign of the entire family of Tufts magazines in print and digital formats. Margot also has art direction and design experience in publishing for higher education, health, technology, and business as a freelance contributor.
Margot’s work has received recognition from CASE District 1, CASE Circle of Excellent, National Association of Marketing and Communications Professionals, and UCDA.
