Hudson/Park Neighborhood Association

WHEN WE PURCHASED OUR HISTORIC BUILDING IN THE HUDSON/PARK NEIGHBORHOOD OF ALBANY, we didn’t realize that it fell in the boundaries of this association; actually, we thought it was part of another neighborhood. To us, that indicated an awareness issue, and we were thrilled to work with the neighborhood association to create an identity and brand items to increase its familiarity. Interviews with community members, some historical research, and time spent walking every street (many, many times) led us to the final visual identity. With a style that evokes a feeling of friendliness and welcoming, it represents the historic neighborhood from Hudson to Park through its beautiful buildings juxtaposed against foliage—a familiar sight for all who live here or visit.
